Sweet peaceful little breakfast spot 5 minutes from Voyageur Provincial Park Staff are very friendly and spoke slowly for me in French so I could practice. Another couple were served in English and the waitress’ English was perfect. We sat outside on the patio which was well shaded and immaculate. I had the one egg Blondeau omelette and it was small but enough. Inside was also very clean and sunny. Bathroom was absolutely spic and span. I really like that the milk and jams were served in little glass jars - environmentally friendly!

Very good! Homemade food, interesting flavour combinations. Drinks in large portions. And it was the only independent cafe open on a holiday! Edited to add: we bought a loaf of her homemade sourdough and it was delicious!

Simply amazing. Great coffee, possibly the best breakfast wrap ever and friendly service. Tammy, my server, was excellent. Very clean, worth the trip. I will make it a regular stop when traveling from Hawkesbury to Montreal.

Cab Cafe is a hidden gem that blends quaint charm with exceptional flavour, an absolute must-visit while exploring the area. Tucked into a cozy spot with a welcoming patio, it’s the perfect place to pause and enjoy a mid-summer brunch. I ordered the Sandwich Voyageur and was genuinely impressed. It was light, filling, and hit that just-right note for a warm day. Paired with a rich, delicious iced latte, it made for a brunch worth lingering over. The patio offers a peaceful setting, ideal for sipping, snacking, and people-watching. What makes Cab Cafe even more special is its heart. Woman-owned and woman-run, this local spot offers warm, attentive service that makes you feel right at home. It’s clear that care goes into everything, from the menu to the atmosphere. If you’re wandering through town and looking for a place to relax and recharge, Cab Cafe delivers all the right vibes.

A charming stop on our way to Montreal turned into so much more than just a coffee break. We came in for a quick caffeine fix, but walked away with warmth, connection, and a beautiful reminder of what makes local gems like this so special. We always support small shops because they’re the soul of a town—the heart where community gathers, creativity flows, and lasting connections are made. Places like this remind us of simpler times, of coming together, especially meaningful in a world still healing from the pandemic. We had a delicious dirty matcha and the pineapple coconut muffin (highly recommend!) and were even guided to a hidden picnic spot right by the water. It was one of those unexpectedly perfect moments that make a trip unforgettable. To anyone passing through, don’t miss this spot. It’s a sweet pause that brings you back to what really matters. Thank you for the hospitality, and wishing you continued success and love in everything you do. - Lina & Alex

They have best coffee in the area. The bread is also delicious and baked daily. My favorite dishes are "Le Voyageur" and "Les Pins". The staff and the owner are always very welcoming. My son loves having breakfast there (and he is really picky).
